The Equipment
We only invest in top quality Canon digital cameras and equipment. As a team, we both carry back-up cameras for each event to ensure we get the job done. This is something you might not think about when booking a photographer, and sometimes even photographers can overlook this; backing up their work.
A lot of thought has gone into our work to ensure your photography images are kept safe from the moment we press the shutter to ensuring secure storage following your special event.
When we photograph your wedding or special event, we use cameras with dual slot SD memory cards. This is vital, as it provides a copy of each of your photo's incase one of them gets corrupted.
Once home, your photos are immediately backed up onto our external hard drive as well as being uploaded to our Apple Macs ready for the editing process.
All of the RAW photos are stored withus securely for a minimum of one year the same amount of time as your online gallery.
Just a thought when your booking your photographer that they are covering all bases. Remember it's your 'Big Day' and you can't rewind the day and start again!!
A lot of time and care goes into editing photos. It's not as simple as whacking on an Instagram filter.
Firstly, we take around 5,000 photo's in a single full wedding day. Our first job is to narrow this down to around 500 images. Whilst you may be thinking "But if you both have taken that many I want to see them all!" Since we may be shooting on burst mode at times, many images will be very similar, with some where your eyes are closed or something is blurry where there has been movment during the shot being taken.
Once the best images have been selected, we edit take time to professionally edit these using 'Adobe Lightroom Classic'. We then upload them to your live persoanl online gallery on our website.
Delivery of your gallery
Within 48 hours of your Wedding we aim to provide you with some fully edited sneak previews. Then provide your full photo gallery within 4 weeks, though often sooner. You'll receive a link via email/messenger that you can share with family and friends to download your images. All of your photos have unlimited downloads in original or web quality, and no, I don't watermark them!
The gallery will remain online to you for 12 months, and you can pay a small subscription fee if you wish to keep it online following this.
